Vilius Motiejaitis


Vilius Motiejaitis, Head of Lithuanian Police School, was born on 27 November, 1978. He graduated Mykolas Romeris University in 2005 and acquired the Bachelor’s degree in Law. In 2018 he acquired the Master’s degree in Law.

V. Motiejaitis started his police service in the system of Interior in 1999 in the first unit of the Internal Service under the Ministry of the Interior. In 2003 he started working in Kaunas District Police Headquarters. In 2007 V. Motiejaitis continued his service at the Lithuanian Police Training Centre. From 2009 to 2018 he worked at the Lithuanian Police School. In 2018 he was appointed as the Head of the Extreme Situations and Patrol Division of Public Police Board of the Police Department under the Ministry of the Interior.  One year later the name of the division has been changed to Response and Readiness Division. On 5 March 2020 V. Motiejaitis was appointed as Head of the Lithuanian Police School.

During the period of service Vilius Motiejaitis has been encouraged by acknowledgements and rewarded honorable badges of merit of the institutions of Interior.
