The head of the Lithuanian Police School Robertas Šimulevičius was born on 28 February 1976. He has university education – he obtained a master's degree in law at the Moscow New Law Institute in 2003, and in 1997 – a higher education in law and order at the Vilnius Higher Police School.

R. Šimulevičius started his service in the system of internal affairs on 7 December 1998 as the junior inspector of the 2nd Subdivision of the Economic Crime Investigation Division of the Economic Crime Investigation Service of the Criminal Police of the Vilnius City Police Headquarters. From 2002, he continued his service as a senior inspector in the Intellectual Property Protection Subdivision of the Economic Crime Investigation Board of the Crime Investigation Service of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau. From 2003 to 2013, he worked in the Intellectual Property Protection Division of the 2nd Board of the Crime Investigation Chief Board of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau and headed it for eight years. From 2013 to 2016, he held the position of the Head of the 2nd Division of the Asset Recovery Board of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau; from 11/04/2016 to 08/07/2016, he headed the 1st Division of the 4th Serious and Organized Crime Investigation Board of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau; from 08/07/2016, he headed the Criminal Intelligence Training Center of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau (as a division).

Since 27 October 2021, he has been appointed the head of the Lithuanian Police School.

During his tenure, R. Šimulevičius has been repeatedly conferred with awards, nominal gifts, one-time cash awards, and has been awarded the police distinctive insignia, such as the Guardian Angel Badge, the Badge “For merits”, the Badge “For impeccable service”, the Badge “For years of service”, and the distinctive insignia of the Financial Crime Investigation Service under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania, such as the Badge “For impeccable service”.
