Aleksejus Chraminas, Head of the Lithuanian Police School, was born in 1973. In 1996, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology, followed by a Master’s degree in Management in 1999. In 2006, he completed law studies at Vilnius University and was awarded a Master’s degree in Law. A. Chraminas began his service in the system of internal affairs in 1995 as an investigator in the Investigation Division of the Kaunas District Police Commissariat. From 1996 to 1998, he served as Deputy Head of the Division, and in 1999 he was appointed Head of the Investigation Division of the Kaunas District Police Commissariat. In 2003, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Criminal Police at the Kaunas District Police Commissariat, and from 2004 he served as Deputy Head of the Commissariat. In 2008, A. Chraminas was appointed Head of the Strategic Planning and Performance Control Subdivision within the Management Organisation Division of the Kaunas County Chief Police Commissariat. From 2010, he headed the Criminal Police Division of the Kaunas District Police Commissariat, and from 2011, the Criminal Police Division of the Žaliakalnis Police Commissariat in Kaunas City. From 2014, he served as Head of the Kaunas District Police Commissariat. In 2023, he was appointed Head of the Response Division of the Kaunas County Chief Police Commissariat. Since 1 July 2026, he has been serving as Acting Head of the Lithuanian Police School. Throughout his career, A. Chraminas has received numerous commendations and personalised gifts in recognition of his service. He has also been awarded commemorative and distinction badges of the Lithuanian Police and the Ministry of the Interior. He is married and has two sons. | |
